The COVID-19 pandemic stopped global travel and fueled xenophobic conspiracy theories, revealing deep societal challenges. This project explores the history of pandemics and quarantine, creating a memorial in New York Bay. As a city built on the legend of free immigrants, New York provides a perfect ground for analysis for the current times.
